My little Charley Bug-
I am horrible at updating your baby book. It seems so impersonal. Fill in the blank just won't due. I want to remember EVERYTHING about you being little. Even the things that seem so simple, I don't want to forget.
Right now you are sitting on my lap as I type,and sucking/chewing on my arms and wrists. It's 9:15pm, Daddy is out at Capones for Justin's 30th birthday, and you are WIDE awake!
Today you are 20 weeks and 5 days old. I wish I had thought to do this sooner. I will try to remember as much as I possibly can about the first few months. Some day I want to be able to show you this. You can read it and know that you are the sweetest, cutest, most wonderful part of my life, and that I cherish every single minute I get to spend with you!
I won't try to put all the the past 5 months into one post. That would be crazy, and you are not very intersted it watching me type anymore. Tonight I will just write a little about today.
Today went by fast. Maybe it's because you took such a long nap. You slept in your mini-crib, in our bedroom. We had all of your monitors on, so that even though we were just one room away we could keep an eye on you. We still worry about you when you sleep. We probably opened the door to check on you about 20 times during your 2 hour nap. We went to Costco, and you were such a good girl. Everyone kept saying what a beautiful baby you are. I am so proud to be your Mommy :) We went to dinner at Capones, but it was too loud for you so we left early. As soon as we got in the quiet car you feel asleep, and were all ready to play when we got home.
You have such a cute little grin. Your dimple on your right cheeks pops up when you smile...the think your dimple and your brown eyes came from me. Everyone says you look like Daddy, and you pretty much do, but not your eyes and dimple, those are from me!
You have your purple cupcake jammies on, you smell like baby lotion, and I am gonna take your cute little buns to bed. Feed you, and snuggle you, and kiss your sweet little cheekers :)
